We
have gradually converted our
"Rustic Little Gallery" back to a cozy little
cottage where we will still spend a great deal of time exploring Acadia
National Park
and the Island. This will include multiple adventures with the camera
and the bagpipes!
When
and if we get to retire, early, :( -
- we may, again, try our "Lady's Slipper Gallery".
Until then we will keep our website going. Please check back
occasionally!
Established 1996, our goal was to
promote Maine Artists in all forms
of art - multimedia or mixed media. We would stock
paintings in oils, pastels,
watercolors, acrylics as well as photography, and woodcarvings. In
order to maintain a
wide variety we would carry knit goods, afghans, quilts, crafts, and
sometimes small
unfinished pine furniture. We would also carry a few books by Maine
Authors -
poetry. Please visit the our "Links Page". Sometimes Ernie, the
resident
woodcarver, would come up with a one of a kind piece of driftwood that
would resemble a
loon or a whale or some other critter. Specializing in relief carvings
of wildlife and
flowers, occasionally he would carve and gold leaf signs. (guilding)
