This area also provides for some of the best hunting and fishing for trophy bear, moose, deer, grouse partridge in the state with access to licensed Maine Guides. Also a great place to for fall foliage, hiking, recreational boating, canoing, kayaking, cross country skiing.

At the January 18th Shrine Ceremonial in Bangor, Ernie & his Son Tony were candidates for the Anah Temple Shrine. Ernie soon joined a Shrine Unit, I.E. The Anah Highlanders. Tony followed soon after as a Drummer!  Ernie & Tony have now worked thier way through the chairs of Mystic Lodge.
As of  Jan. 2010 Ernie is immediate Past Master and Tony is current Master of Mystic Lodge # 65 A. M. & F. M. in Hampden Maine.

Ernie's Mom published her 1st book of poetry in 2008 at age 93 ! ! ! !
